The leading-edge iVDR products at Hitachi booth. Hitachi booth provides the CEATEC attendees with a rare opportunity to see the
most leading-edge iVDR products and service from iVDR Consortium members.
The exhibits include not only Hitachi's high-definition TV series "Wooo" but also iVDR media; featuring large capacity and high-definition video recording
with SAFIA content protection, iVDR recorder with digital tuner, iVDR
content software and PC-based solution. The iVDR Consortium members present
total usage environment of iVDR. Members include Hitachi Maxell, SANYO
Consumer Electronics, and I-O Data Device.
500GB iVDR-S media will premiere at CEATEC (prototype sample).
As many of iVDR products are released to the market this year and numerous application products are under development and soon be ready to the market, the greater iVDR adoption is expected pretty soon.
